Microblasting Equipment MICROPEEN 950 ZP / ZPD
With the microblasting equipments MICROPEEN, all elastomer and plastic contaminations can be removed from screws, moulding tools and other extrusion components and parts within a very short time. This is completely safe, targeted, dry, pore-deep, absolutely abrasive-free and chemical-free.
The absolutely clean, pore-deep and complete elimination of even persistently adherent plastic impurities on a barrel extruder of about 1'000 mm length takes just about 15 minutes, without damaging in any way the surface of the base material or the edges. Deposits of colour pigments and release agents, rubber residues, adhesive substances, varnishes and organic compounds can also be easily removed from exposed surfaces (even on textured surfaces - whereby the surface structures and roughness depths are retained!).
Thanks to the dry treatment with a special mixture of microblasting agents, without any heat or cold exposure, there are no undesired side-effects such as distortions, changes of the surface topography, destructions of polished surfaces, damages to mould edges of form tools etc. There are also no scratch marks, burns or other damages on the surface (even polished surfaces!), as it is the case when cleaning with conventional manual cleaning methods (solvents, brushes, scraping and scratching tools, Bunsen burners etc.). This means that even polished extruder screws and moulding tools can be cleaned completely safely.
With the additionally available screw doors, feeding boxes and supporting roller brackets, even longer barrel extruders can be cleaned without any problems. Further advantages of this self-contained system are the automatically operating microblasting agent recycling via cyclone and the automatic, pneumatic filter cleaning (time interval) of the directly attached micro-filter system.
